Sector assignment

Your facility is organized into sectors (floors, wings, care units). Each member of the care staff is assigned to one or more sectors:

Caregivers and nurses: see only residents in their sectors
Head nurses and doctors: access to all sectors
Kitchen staff: access to dietary information only
Maintenance: access to rooms and equipment

This setup ensures data confidentiality while letting everyone access the information they need to do their job.

How many roles are available?

14 roles across five families: Care, Paramedical, Support, Admin and Management. Each role determines access rights and the place in the org chart.

How does sector assignment work?

Each caregiver is assigned to one or more sectors and only sees the residents of those sectors. Head nurses and doctors have access to all sectors.

Is the INAMI number verified?

Yes. For accredited care staff, the INAMI number (11 digits) is validated automatically by Resthome.

Can schedule preferences be taken into account?

Yes. Each employee declares their preferences (morning, afternoon, night, day or flexible) and their weekend and night availability, within their contractual maximum hours.

Is staff data confidential?

Yes. Role- and sector-based access rights ensure everyone only accesses the information they need for their work.
